Meet The Team

Darren joined Uprise as a director in January 2005 and in December 2007 took on the role of managing director. Darren is a quantity surveyor with over 18 years experience in the construction industry. Darren works in the Coulsdon office and oversees various parts of the business.

Graham formed Uprise in September 2003 and has seen the company grow to its current position. Graham is a quantity surveyor with over 14 years experience in the construction industry. Graham works in both the Coulsdon and Brighton offices and is currently managing and developing the Brighton based business. Both Darren and Graham have an excellent working relationship and share the same principles on how a successful construction business should be run.

Roger joined Uprise in June 2005. Roger has a wealth of experience, especially with his knowledge of the technical side of construction. Roger has worked in the construction industry for over 20 years managing various types of projects up to £5M.

Steve joined Uprise in July 2006. Steve arrived at Uprise bringing a wealth of experience with him having started his career in the construction industry as an apprentice carpenter some 20 years ago. Steve previously worked for a national contractor for 19 years working his way up to the role contracts manager.

Lisa joined Uprise in March 2006 and is responsible for the day to day running of the accounts department. Lisa previously worked for a national contractor in their accounts department and brings along the experience and knowledge required to run a busy accounts department.

Teresa joined Uprise in April 2008. Teresa is responsible for the smooth running of the office and also provides administrative support to the office staff as well as providing support to the directly employed site operatives where necessary.

Matthew joined Uprise in February 2005 and has over 10 years experience as a qualified electrician. Matt is responsible for running and maintaining Uprise Electrical's NICEIC status and also manages the electrical operatives at site level.

Not only do Uprise employ experienced and qualified subcontractors but we also have a pool of directly employed operatives who are able to provide a swift and flexible service to clients.
